The two halves are priced differently. A boat has one price for the group, up to its limit. A van day is priced per person, and the figure on the card is the lowest rung of a scale that falls as more of you book.
For six of you the bay boat costs $435 for the group, about $72 each, with the €90 fuel for three hours split six ways on top. A place on the shared catamaran is $74 a head. From four people up, the whole boat starts to pay for itself.
Your skipper anchors where you ask, within the hours you booked. The full days stop off Pampelonne and in the Canoubiers for two hours each, then under Cap Taillat, a cape the Conservatoire du littoral bought in 1987. The half days keep to the bays nearer the town.
The van days come to you. The town tour collects you on the port, anywhere in town or in the villages round it, and where the cruise tenders land; the wine day picks you up free within 10 km. The boats do not: you go to their berth, though the half-day Pershing 45 collects you from four harbours as part of its price, and the bay boat does it for €50.
The flower day goes west along the coast to Bormes-les-Mimosas, a four-flower village famous for its winter mimosa, and gives it two hours. The wine day heads inland to the Côtes de Provence estates at Le Cannet-des-Maures and Vidauban. No shared tour here goes to either.
