On the water, the swim stop is the day
On the catamaran and the private boats alike, the clear water off the capes is what people write about first, and a skipper who finds a quiet anchorage comes next. Wind is the one complaint, so go early in your stay and keep a spare morning.
Find your harbour before the day
Several travellers lost time finding the ticket office or the right quay. Most boats berth at Marines de Cogolin, not the town, and the voucher office in Cannes is not where the directions say. Check your card and go and look the day before.
Five hours in town is plenty
On the boats from Nice and Cannes, reviewers agree the time ashore is enough, and some found it too much in the August heat. Go on a market morning, and arrive at the quay early if you want a seat outside.
On a road day, say what you can manage
The van tours climb to hill villages and viewpoints. The best-reviewed days bend to the group; the one complaint is a viewpoint a walker user could not reach. Tell the guide about any mobility limit when you book.

A tour with over a thousand reviews and one with two are not a verdict on each other. The gap is mostly how many people each carries: a scheduled boat takes hundreds a day, a private yacht one group. The price column is not like for like either, because a per-group fare and a per-person fare buy different things, and the fuel on a private boat comes on top.
